I'd be surprised if bittorrent makes a dent in the IA's bandwidth. It works best with "dense" collections of information, ie the latest hit movie is released and many people are trying to download it simultaneously. The IA's usage pattern I imagine is pretty sparse, as one would expect with a large collection. I would think a general purpose p2p app would be a better fit for the IA.

Any statistics about bittorrent usage been done?
